FRAMINGHAM – The CEO of Tenet Healthcare in Massachusetts is leaving after 14 months on the job.
Jeffrey Welch, CEO of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare’s Massachusetts market, is leaving to oversee five Tenet hospitals in Greater Miami.
Welch was hired in May 2017 to oversee the Massachusetts hospitals, including MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and Natick, and Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
Previously he was CEO of Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in Florida.
Jeffrey Liebman is CEO of Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham and Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick.
Welch was also CEO of Saint Vincent Hospital. Chief Operating Officer Ava Jo Collins will become interim CEO, until a successor is named.
