FRAMINGHAM – June E. (Gonyeau) Hill, 96, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Carlyle House in Framingham.
She was the wife of the late Anthony E. Colello and the late Earl Hill.
Born and raised in St. Albans, VT, June was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Brousseau) Gonyeau.
At the age of 12, June came to Framingham to become a lady’s maid for a Dennison Mfg. Co. entrepreneur.
June was a seamstress and formerly worked at Framingham Apron Shops, Fitzgibbons Mfg. Co. and then for 20 years at Cushing Hospital all in Framingham.
More recently, June enjoyed socializing with “the club” at the Franklin Street and Rt. 9 Dunkin Donuts.
She was predeceased by her sons, Michael Colello and Tony Colello and her brother Guy Duggento.
She is survived by her daughters-in-law, Leslie Colello of Weymouth and Andrea Colello of Framingham; her grandchildren, Corey Blackwell of Chicago, Nadine Colello of Weymouth, Christopher Colello of Indiana; 4 great grandchildren, Autumn Colello-Kelly, Toni Rose Colello, Jackson Blackwell, and Easton Blackwell; nieces, Paulette Duggento and Theresa Duggento.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her graveside service on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen Cemetery, Fenwick Street, Framingham.
At her request, there will be no visiting hours.
