  1. There is a retirement reception for City Clerk Valerie Mulvey today from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Memorial Building. The public is invited.


2. City of Framingham meetings:

  • Framingham Historic District Commission has a meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Blumer room in the Memorial Buiding. The Commission will hold a public hearing on a proposed local historic district at613 Pleasant Street


3.  According to Mayor’s public calendar on the City of Framingham’s website,  Mayor Yvonne Spicer has no public events.




4.  The undefeated Framingham Frogs defeated Millis last night to go 7-0 on the season. The Frogs are the City’s co-ed summer swim team. There are more than 200 boys and girls registered on the team.




5.  Learneds Pond is closed to swimming until further notice, due to high bacteria counts. The City’s two other public beaches will be open today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
