FRAMINGHAM – The Union Avenue bridge will close for several hours on Tuesday, July 17, so it can be inspected.
The bridge will close between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. so the road plates can be removed, and an inspection and resetting of the plates can take place, explained Framingham Assistant Highway Director Kate Ronconi.
“The work will necessitate a full road closure and will utilize the same detour as was previously put in place on during the emergency repair on June 18” according to Framingham DPW.
Police details will be onsite.
See the map for the detour.
