FRAMINGHAM – Steven P. “Hank” Sacchi, 62, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died peacefully Wednesday July 11, 2018 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.
Born in Framingham, he was a son of the late John E. Sacchi, Sr., and the late Gloria M. (Vittori) Sacchi.
A graduate of Framingham South High School with the Class of 1974, he worked as a mechanic for many years in the HVAC field.
An avid sports fan of all the Boston teams, he enjoyed cards, bocce (traveling to Rome NY for bocce tournaments) and was a member of the Columbus Club, Inc.
He is survived by his brothers: John E. Sacchi, Jr. and his wife Liz of Carver and James M. Sacchi of Framingham; a nephew: Matthew Sacchi and a niece: Cristina Sacchi. He was pre-deceased by his brother David Sacchi in 2010.
Visiting hours are Tuesday July 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home,173 Union Avenue in Framingham
Urn burial in St. Tarcisius Cemetery will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Hank’s name to the MetroWest Cancer Care Center, 99 Lincoln Street (Ground Floor), Framingham, MA. 01702, in grateful recognition of the heartfelt and compassionate care Hank and his family received during his treatment at the facility.
