Man Arrested on Attempted Murder Charge in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM – A 24-year-old man will be arraigned today, July 11,  on attempted murder charges, following an early morning domestic assault stabbing on Tuesday.

First responders found a woman, age unknown, stabbed multiple times on Tuesday, July 10 when they arrived at a Beaver Street address around 4:45 a.m.

The woman was transported to UMass Medical Center in Worcester via a medical helicopter.

Framingham Police arrested Teodosio Rodriguez-Ortiz, that same morning, according to court records.

He was charged with attempted murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a knife.

Under a state law, signed by former Governor Deval Patrick, domestic assault cases are not listed in police logs. Police will not discuss domestic cases with the media or public.

The man is expected to be arraigned in court today.
