Governor’s Commission on Future of Transportation Session Wednesday

BOSTON – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced the Governor’s Commission on the Future of Transportation in the Commonwealth will be hosting a public listening session on Land Use and Demographic Trends on Wednesday, June 27, at q p.m. at UMass/Boston’s Alumni Lounge, in the Campus Center.

  

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker created the Commission to explore anticipated changes in technology, climate, land use, and the economy, and advise the Administration on factors likely to impact transportation between the years 2020 and 2040.

The Commission, in partnership with MassDOT and the UMass Transportation Center, is hosting a series of five public listening sessions to capture ideas and discuss policy, and take questions and comments.

The public is invited to attend.
