SLIDESHOW: 54th Dinner Raises $35,000+ For The 200 Foundation

SUDBURY – For 54 years, The 200 Foundation has assisted those most in need in MetroWest. The foundation’s mission is to make a profound impact in people’s lives.

Earlier this week, The 200 Foundation held its 54th Annual Dinner at Longfellow’s Wayside in Sudbury.

The event was a fundraiser to raise money for the foundation that provides grants that support local organizations like food pantries, shelters, food insecurity and children’s activities.

In Framingham, the Foundation has helped Daniel’s Table and Hoops & Homework, recently.

The honoree at this week’s 54th Annual Dinner was the President of the TD Garden Amy Laudimere, who attended the event with her husband, sons, and 83-year-old Boston Bruins legend Johnny Bucyk.

Bucyk autographed a Bruins shirt, that was auctioned off to raise even more money for the Foundation. Laudimere donated a VIP Bruins package, a Celtics package, and Maroon 5 tickets to the live auction. There was a silent auction during the cocktail hour.

Massachusetts Lt. Governor Karyn Polito attended and spoke during the event.

The event ended with a performance by Boston comedian Lenny Clarke.

Framingham realtor Philip Ottaviani is the President of The 200 Foundation.

Adam Bortolussi is the Board chair.

Other board members include Christopher Mingace, Paul Everett, III, Jeffrey Krasner, William Wing, Robert Abrams, Kevin Coan, Christine Duquette, Timothy Fitts, Leonard Fournier, Brendon Giblin, Ronald Isaacson, James Patterson, Steven Sewell, Joseph Verri and Jay Powell.

Before the plated dinner, guests attended a cocktail party with appetizers and alcohol provided by more than a dozen MetroWest establishments including Charter Oaks Country Club and the Capital Grill.

The Platinum sponsors of the event were Herb Chambers and Wing Press.
