FRAMINGHAM – A trio of Cameron Middle School 7th graders won the 5th Annual Framingham Middle School Spelling Bee, last night at the Framingham Public Library.
The event was hosted by the Library’s Homework Center, and organized by the Center’s Student Advisory Board.
The winners of the spelling bee were Nilufar Noorian, Lily Novak, and Ruby Guillaume.
The winning spellers are pictured with master of ceremonies Rep. Jack Lewis and Cameron SAGE educator Angie Goldberg.
The Homework center is run by director Judy Gatlin.
The Center provides free tutoring for all Framingham students in grades K-12 Mondays through Thursdays from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Last year’s winning team of spellers finished in second place this year.
