UPDATED: 2018 Framingham Source Election Policy

Framingham Source will cover the election in November 2018, but will not be endorsing any candidates.

There will be a primary election in Massachusetts on Tuesday, September 4 to determine candidates for the November election on Tuesday, November 6.

2018 is not a City of Framingham election year.

However, there are candidates running for the state representative seat currently held by the late. Rep. Chris Walsh. All state representatives and state senators are up for re-election, as they only serve 2-year terms.

2018 is a state and federal election, and there are two Democratic candidates challenging Republican Gov. Charlie Baker, among other state races.

There are six Republican and three Independent challengers to Democratic U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren. Democratic Congresswoman Katherine Clark is being challenged by one Republican candidate.

Framingham Source encourages discussion on the candidates and on the races on our social media platforms, as well as our main site. Candidates may join the conversation, but with a few rules.
