NATICK – The Marion Street Bridge in Natick will be closed to motor vehicles five, and in some cases, six days a week, for several weeks, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., so that gas utility work and remaining construction activities can be completed.
The closure will begin on Monday, May 21, announced the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
The daytime bridge closure will be effective Monday through Friday, and possibly on some Saturdays, during the spring season.
Travel detours will be in place for motor vehicles during these daytime work hours but pedestrians will continue to have access across the bridge.
MassDOT encourages the public to be mindful of potential traffic impacts in the general area of the Marion Street Bridge.
