2. District 7 City Councilor Margareth Shepard will be one of the speakers at lunch for the women’s entrepreneur conference today at the Sheraton sponsored by SCORE and TD Bank. Framingham Source will be at the 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. conference.


3. Framingham Source has a new Facebook group to post highlights and discuss sports in the City. The group is for youth, club, high school, college/university and adult sports. All are welcome to join, by clicking here.



4. Framingham State University’s Christa McAuliffe Center for Integrated Science Learning will host Kim Kowal Arcand from the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory for a special event in the planetarium event tonight. The event is sold out.



5.  According to Mayor’s public calendar on the City of Framingham’s website, she plans to attend the 10th Annual Women in the Law conference at Northeastern University.

The Mayor is part of a panel called “So You Want to Run for Office…”  The description said attendees will learn “the how-tos (along with the dos and don’ts) of running for elected office from our panelists, who can offer tales from the trenches along with practical advice.”
