UPDATED: Firefighters Battle Building Fire on Lincoln Street

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham firefighters were called to Lincoln Street, after the building made have been struck by lightning.

The scanner had firefighters at 90 Lincoln Street, a South Middlesex Opportunity Council property. The building is a homeless shelter for Veterans.

Firefighters saw heavy smoke from the building when they arrived around 6:45 p.m. They had to cut a hole into the roof of the building.
