FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham completed brush collection for about 22 percent of the City during its first six days of the special storm brush collection, according to Framingham Public Works Director Peter Sellers.
The city-wide collection ran for six days between May 7 and Saturday, May 12 last week, and continues this week.
During the first six days, 10,046 cubic yards of debris was collected, according to Sellers.
Framingham DPW spent almost $19,500 in overtime and another $48,500 in equipment and police details.
