FRAMINGHAM – There will be a detour on Salem End Road on Friday, May 11 to finish paving of the major roadway, according to Framingham DPW.
Work will take place between 4 and 6 a.m. at the intersection of Salem End Road, Badger and Gates.
The road will re-open for traffic for the morning commute hours of 6 to 9 a.m., said Framingham Highway Director Danny Nau, and then paving will continue on Salem End Road at 9 a.m. from Reservoir Bridge to Badger Road.

Police details will be onsite to help facilitate safe vehicular and pedestrian travel.
There will be NOon-street parking allowed during this phase of work.
Emergency vehicles and School Buses will have access at all times with some minor delay.
