SLIDESHOW: Wildcats Scratch Out 99-36 Win Over Flyers

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High girls outdoor track team hosted the Wildcats of Weymouth High at Bowditch Field on Wednesday, for what is likely to be their final meet of the season.

The Wildcats won 99-36.

Coach Chris Collins said it is unlikely a weather-cancelled meet against Norwood will be re-scheduled this season.

Next up for Framingham is the Bay State Conference Championships on May 16 at Braintree High.

Freshmen Sophie Albright and Shannon Walker went 1-2 in the high jump for the Flyers.

Albright leaped 4 feet, 8 inches and Walker’s best was 4 feet, 6 inches. Sophomore Jenny Sivieri finished third with a personal record of 4 feet, 4 inches.

Framingham junior won Saisha Small-Brown won the 400 meter race in 62.7 seconds, a season best time for her. Weymouth took second and third.

The Flyers won both relays. Framingham won the 4 by 100 relay in 55.2 seconds. Weymouth crossed the finished line in 55.6 seconds.

Framingham runners Paige Fisher, Marissa Drapeau, Clara Small and Tess Robinson finished first in the 4 by 400 relay.

Framingham junior Ayushi Shirke finished third in the discus event with a personal record of 59 feet, 9 inches. Wildcat senior Hannah Fulton won the event with a throw of 81 feet, 4 inches.

Shirke also finished third in the  shot put with a personal best throw of  22 feet, 11 inches. Fulton again wn the event with a throw of 30 feet, 9.5 inches. Weymouth senior Diana Laenen was second.

Weymouth junior Marissa Crisfulli won the javelin event with a throw of 79 feet, 11 inches. The Wildcats swept the javelin event. Framingham sophomore Tiffany Chan finished fourth with a personal record of 57 feet, 6 inches. Framingham senior Michelle Hom finished fifth with a personal record of 49 feet.

The Wildcats swept the long jump with senior Meghan McLaughlin winning the event with a leap of 14 feet 5.5 inches. Framingham High sophomore Sara Anastasi finished fourth with a personal record of 13 feet and 3 inches.

Weymouth swept the triple jump.

Wildcat Moye Aboli won the dash in a personal record of 12.8 seconds. Framingham Senior Francesca Barsanti finished second in 12.9 seconds, a personal record. Weymouth took third.

Aboli also won the 200 meters race in 27 seconds. Framingham junior Kiley Dustin finished second in 28.6 seconds, a personal record. Weymouth took third place.

Weymouth swept the 800 meter race.

Weymouth also swept the mile, with Wildcat Sara Soule first in 5:48.5 minutes. Flyers junior captain Small finished fourth in 6:06 minutes, a season best time for her. All of the Flyersin the race had personal records for the day including Paige Fisher, Erin Rogerson, Mackenzie Verdini, and Kirten Harrod.

Weymouth finished 1-2 the 2 mile event. They were the only two runners entered.
