FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Public Schools announced four finalists to replace Ed Gotart as the district’s Executive Director of Finance and Operations. Gotgart announced he would retire at the end of this school year.
The finalists are: Lincoln Lynch IV, Billie Jo Menzies-Turner, Irene Oliver, and Kirsteen Patterson.
The finalists will visit Framingham Public Schools and meet with designated stakeholders on May 14 and 16.
Superintendent Bob Tremblay will select one finalist and the 9-member School Committee will need to vote on his recommendation.
- Lynch IV is currently the School Business Manager for the Town of Norton – School Department. Prior to that he was the School Business Administrator for the Charms Collaborative in Stoughton and an Institutional Account Manager at RISO, Inc. Lynch earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Hampshire (Durham) and his Master in Educational Leadership from Bridgewater State College.
- Menzies-Turner is currently the School Business Administrator at Greater Lowell Technical High School in Tyngsboro. Prior to that she was the Chief Financial Officer/Human Resource Director at Boston Renaissance Charter School and the Budget Analyst/Grants
Manager in the Lowell Public Schools. Menzies-Turner earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell and her Master of Education from Cambridge College.
- Oliver is currently the Director of Administration and Finance in the Westborough Public Schools. Prior to that she was the School Business Manager for the Malden Public Schools and the Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative in West Springfield. Oliver
earned her Bachelor of Arts in Finance/Management and Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst.
- Patterson is currently the Director of Finance and Administration in the Medford Public Schools. Prior to that she was the Director of Finance and Business Operations at South Middlesex Vocational Technical Regional School District (Joseph P Keefe Technical High) in Framingham and a Business Operations Assistant in the Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District in Upton. Ms. Patterson earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Nichols College.
