Framingham High Class of 2018
Mary Connolly is being recognized for her incredible perseverance and dedication to Flyer athletics.
Mary has seen 3 seasons cut short as a result of a serious knee injury, each one requiring extensive surgery and a lengthy rehab.
After each surgery she would hobble into practice with a brave and positive face and help her team any way she could.
After 3 major surgeries, who would blame her if she dd not return her senior year?
Once again the team held their breath as Mary worked herself into incredible shape, often leaving practice for another 2-hour workout to keep her as strong as possible.
Thankfully, the last surgery held up as Mary led the Flyers cheerleading team at a League and South Sectional title as well as a Top 3 Division 1 finish and a national bid.
She was also a member of the Flyers gymnastics team.
