PHOTOS: Hoops and Homework Community Violin Program Performs at Library

Framingham – Six members of the Hoops and Homework community violin group had their premiere performance last night, April 30, at the Framingham Public Library.

The students performed as part of the Framingham Cultural Council’s annual award night at the main Framingham Library.

The Cultural Council provided the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest funding to offer the violin program at the Hoops and Homework program.

Centre Music House in Framingham helped to provide the instruments for the program.

Performing last night were David Castro, Monica Castro, Troy Castro, Jayla Garcia, Alexa Villanueva, and Anst Saint Valliere.

The students performed three songs, including Hot Cross Buns, under the direction of Zachary Surapine.
