UPDATED: Framingham Cultural Council Recognizes Levine

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Cultural Council recognized Judy Levine on Monday, April 30 at a reception at the Framingham Public Library.

Levine has been a resident of Framingham most of her life.

Her parents were involved in the community and were role models for her when she was a child.

She is a graduate of Framingham North High School and all four of her children went through the Framingham school system.

Her professional career has revolved around children and teens. She has been a pre-school teacher, day camp and overnight camp director, and for the past 26 years has owned Summer Camp & Trip Resources, a company that places children and teens at summer programs both domestically & internationally.

Levine has been involved in various ways in the community.

As a teenager, her family hosted the first Foreign Exchange Student at Framingham North High School and since she is fluent in Spanish, she and her “Uruguayan sister” remain best friends today.

Levine has been a Mentor with the Mazie Mentoring Foundation for several years; and is currently a Member of the Framingham Cultural Council where she has raised funds for the Rita & Bill Collins Memorial Arts Scholarship.

Levine has been a member of the Framingham Cultural Council for two, 3-year terms. She is only allowed to serve a maximum of six year son the Council.
