FRAMINGHAM – Access Framingham Television (AFTV), Framingham’s public access community media television station, offers an Orientation and Camcorder Jump-Start! Session.
Wednesday, May 2 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. AFTV welcomes the community to visit the studios at 4 Vernon Street in Framingham Centre.
Participants will tour Framingham’s public access community media center and learn more about the latest high-definition (HD) camera and recording equipment, iMac Final Cut X editing stations, studios, and control rooms.
Membership is available to anyone who lives, works, attends school in Framingham or affiliated with a Framingham-based organization. Members also receive training, access to production equipment, staff support and opportunities to produce their own program, segments and public service announcements and work with other members on programs.
Local high school, college, or university students who participate can learn more about the AFTV Internship Program for academic credit
and prepare for professional development.

Access Framingham (AFTV) is an award-winning community media center owned and operated by the 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Framingham Public Access Corporation (FPAC), which was created to provide public media access to Framingham residents, educational institutions, nonprofit and community-based organizations and affordable training and skills development on emerging media and technologies.
