Patient, caring, helpful, and collaborative are adjectives I would use to describe Robin.
Her hard work and determination has helped build a very successful emotional/behavioral program at Cameron Middle School.
Robin often goes above and beyond by obtaining supplies and creating innovative ways to address the complex social/emotional, behavioral, and academic needs of her students. She informally mentors at risk students throughout the day. Her caring personality, warm disposition, everlasting patience, and ability to meet students where they are make her the perfect candidate for this award.
From creating and organizing the annual program wide Thanksgiving dinner to engaging weekly social skill building activities, her
students greatly benefit from having a teacher that is so invested in their overall well being and growth.
As a staff, we also benefit from daily lessons learned from Robin. She does all that while co-teaching in all academic classes and maintaining high academic expectations for all students.
Robin, You Are Special!
