UPDATED: Framingham Police Win 2nd Annual Heroes Cup For #WhyNotDevin Foundation

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Police Department’s hockey team won the 2018 Heroes Cup Tournament this past weekend.

The winner received a $1,000 check for their charity of choice.

Framingham Police will donate the money to the #WhyNotDevin Foundation.

The Heroes Cup is a weekend long event designed to bring firefighters, police officers, EMS, and military members together in a fun weekend to raise money and awareness for multiple charities.

Captains on the winning Framingham Police team are Joe Godino and Chris Pisano. The assistant captains are Jaime Lewis and Jay Ball. Other members of the team are Steve Balducci, Andrew Lewis, (Deputy Police Chief) Ron Brandolini, Chris Montuori, Joe Guertin, Mike McDonald (Mass State Police Trooper and former Framingham Police) Dan Pelletier, Brett Moreau, Paul Patriarca, Colin Fitzpatrick (from Wayland Police) Mike Mabardy (from Natick Police) Adam Sinewitz (a civilian – each team gets one civilian spot).

The is the second year of the Cup.

Adesa donated the uniforms for the police department’s hockey team.
