FRAMINGHAM – Nella Rosetta (DiBacco) Carbone, 86, a resident of Framingham for 52 years, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sat. April 21, 2018.
She was the beloved wife of Antonio Carbone with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.
Born in Rocca Casale, Province of L’Aquila, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Guerino and Maria (Manini) DiBacco.
She worked at the Granite Corp for 20 years and more recently at Bethany Hospital in food preparation before retiring at age 72. She will be remembered as a great cook, who enjoyed socializing and the company of family at Sunday dinners.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Marilena N. Galante & husband Loreto of Bellingham and Venanzio “Vinny” Carbone and wife Lisa of New Ipswich, NH; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; a sister: Angela DeMarco of Framingham and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are Friday April 27 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home at 173 Union Avenue in Framingham.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday April 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Tarcisius Church on Route 135 in Framingham.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
