Ashland Teen, 15, Charged In Connection With Maine Woman’s Murder

LITCHFIELD, MAINE – An Ashland teenager is among three teens charged in connection with the death of a woman, 47 in Maine.

Kimberly Mironovas’ son, Luke Mironovas, 15, strangled and stabbed his mother in the neck, according to court records. He is charged with intentional or knowing murder and criminal conspiracy to commit murder.

William Smith, 15, who lives in Ashland, assisted in the murder, according to court records. He is charged with intentional or knowing murder and criminal conspiracy to commit murder.

Another teen, 13, whose name was not released, is charged with criminal conspiracy to commit murder.

Litchfield police found the body of Mironovas inside her home on Sunday, around 2 a.m.

Mironovas and her son lived in Ashland until last year, when she sold the family’s condo and moved to Maine.
