Framingham Cultural Council Reception April 30 at Library

FRAMINGHAM – The arts in the City of Framingham will be celebrated on Monday, April 30, as the Framingham Cultural Council will hold its annual awards ceremony at the Framingham Public Library.

The reception will be at the main Framingham Library at 49 Lexington Street at 6:30 p.m.

This year, the Council will be highlight the Council’s Student Art Competition with more than 125 submission on the theme of “City.”

The Council will present the 2018 winners of the Rita and Bill Collins Memorial Arts Scholarship first place and recognition awards, the
FCC Contributor of the Year award which goes to Mark Contois, the Framingham Library Director, and the FCC Special Recognition award which goes to Judith Levine, a Cultural Council Member for six years.

The Council will also recognize the 33 2018 Cultural Council grant award winners.
