FRAMINGHAM – “CJ” Charles F. Wagstaff, Jr., 34, died suddenly on Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Born in Natick, he was raised and educated in Framingham, and graduated from the Gifford School in Weston.
Blessed with a giggle that kept any joke going, CJ was an idea man with an entrepreneurial spirit.
He co-founded AZ Promotions with his fiancé, and was an avid trader in collectibles.
He would often be found on his computer searching for the next treasure. He enjoyed a good book, a good laugh, and the love of his family and friends. None more so than the love and support he received from his fiancé.
He was kind and helpful and would often visit with his special neighbor friend or be shoveling a walkway. He was a friend and protector to the elderly and handicapped. He was a proud “Dad” to three rescue cats, and “Foster Dad” to one snake.
It’s not what we have in our life, but who we have in our life that counts.
He is survived by his loving mother, Nancie DiManno of Southborough, his fiancé of 13 years, Amanda Zophin of Framingham, his brother and best friend, Brandon of Southborough, his aunts and uncles, Rich of Fitchburg, Michelle Manning & her husband Tom of ME, Mike of Hudson, Addie DiManno and Donna Dennis both of CA, and many loved cousins and friends. CJ was predeceased by his biggest role models, his Nana & Papa Noni, Mary & Archie DiManno.
Family and friends will honor and remember CJ’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street in Framingham on Friday, April 20 from 4 to 8 p.m.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning in St. George’s Church, 74 School Street in Saxonville at 10 a.m.
Interment will be private.
