NORWOOD – The Framingham High boys lacrosse team travelled to Norwood and game home with a 14-1 win.
Framingham is now 2-2 under head coach Jamie Stefanini.
“We had a solid team effort in our 14-1 win over Norwood,” said Stefanini.
On offense we were lead by James Ross,” said Stefanini. Ross scored 6 goals on Thursday.
“Our defense kept the pressure on Norwood’s offense all game and shut them down,” said Stefanini.
Clay Scata made 4 saves.
“RJ Vielle won 14 of the 15 faceoffs he took,” said Stefanini. He also scored 2 goals.
Grady Parker scored 2 goals and had 2 assists for Framingham.
Other goal scorers yesterday were Joe McHugh, Evan Daniels, Joe Garcia and Austin Villa.
Junior Lars Olsen had 3 assists. Others with assists were Noaln Buck, Eric Cosgrove, Issac Seletz and Anthony James.
The Flyers remain on the road with a game against the Wildcats on Thursday, April 19 in Weymouth.
Next home game is Saturday, April 21 at 1 p.m. at Phil Read field.
