FRAMINGHAM – The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Framingham, and MetroWest from 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4 through 4 a.m. Thursday.
The strongest winds are expected after 8 p.m. on Wednesday until 2 a.m. Thursday.
Winds will be from the west and will be 20 to 30 miles per hour, with gusts as must as 55 miles per hour.
The weather forecast is also calling for rain on Wednesday.
This may bring down some tree limbs which could also cause power outages.
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph are expected, with gusts between 46 to 57 mph. Winds this strong are capable of downing small tree limbs and branches, possibly causing isolated power outages. Driving can also be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
