FRAMINGHAM – The largest group of children ever participated in the 8th Annual EGGciting hunt at Cushing Memorial Park Saturday morning, sponsored by the City of Framingham Parks and Recreation Department.
Last year was the largest crowd ever with about 225 children searching for eggs. This year, the number of registered children for the City of Framingham’s first hunt was more than 300 children and their families.
Before the hunt, there were games and crafts.
After the hunt, children and families could have their photo taken with the bunny, participating in a hula hoop or limbo contest, and of course, join the bunny hop parade led by the bunny. And, of course play more games and do more crafts.
Volunteers from Banner Hill Church helped yesterday morning with the event organized by Framingham Parks and Rec. High school students also volunteered their time to the City event.
Mother Nature cooperated for the two-hour event yesterday, which has been held rain, mud, snow, or shine.
