Framingham Resident Appointed Principal at Gloucester Middle School

GLOUCESTER – A Framingham resident has been named the next principal at the O’Maley Innovation Middle School in Gloucester.

Gloucester Superintendent of Schools Richard Safer announced Lynne Blumer Beattie will be the next principal, starting on July 1.

Beattie is currently the digital literacy coordinator for kindergarten to grade 12 for the Concord-Carlisle schools.

The position was advertised with a salary range of $112,000 to $115,000.

Beattie had served as a teacher and then assistant principal at Concord Middle School.

She was a teacher in the Natick Public Schools from 1994 through 1997.

She holds a master’s in education from Lesley University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Brandeis University.

She lives in Framingham.
