Weather Alert: Nor’easter Could Bring 7 to 13 inches of Snow to MetroWest, Including Framingham

BOSTON – The National Weather Service has increased the snowfall forecasted for MetroWest, including Framingham, to 7 to 13 inches of snow this morning at 4 a.m.

A winter storm watch remains in effect from 8 a.m. Wednesday until 8 a.m. Thursday.

Snow is expected to start around early Wednesday morning and increase in the afternoon through the evening commute.  Plan on difficult travel conditions. Significant reduction in visibility is possible.

Heavy snow is forecasted. By storm’s end, Framingham could see 7 to 10 inches, with localized possibilities of more than a foot.

Winds are supposed to be less with this nor’easter compared to the previous ones this month.

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
