FRAMINGHAM – Former mayoral candidate and State Rep. John Stefanini and former District 7 City Council candidate Bill Lynch (pictured) will be the guests of the Framingham League of Women Voters Presents State of the City broadcast live on Sunday, March 25 from 7 to 8 p.m. via Access Framingham (RCN: Channel 3; Comcast: Channel 9; Verizon: Channel 43).
The League also will be streaming this live on the Framingham League of Women Voters (LWV) Facebook page at www.facebook.com/LWVFram/
This is the League’s second show and it has been expanded from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
The show will be moderated by host Jim Pillsbury.
Residents are asked to call-in with questions for the guests at 508 875 5403.
“We had a tremendous response from our first show. Everyone mentioned it was too short, so starting with this, our second show, we will now be doing an hour long broadcast, live, from Access Framingham once a month. We want to talk about the issues that are of interest to residents, so we encourage viewers to call in with their questions” said Stephanie Deeley, president of the Framingham League of Women Voters.
The Framingham League of Women Voters was established in June of 2017 and has been actively engaged in the community since its inception sponsoring debates, doing voter registration at the summer Concerts on the Green, holding several League sponsored Informed Framingham events, and now with their new cable access show.
The LWV is open to all (including men) and is a citizens’ organization that has fought since 1920 to improve our
government and engage all citizens in the decisions that impact their lives.
