Shave You Head on St. Patrick’s Day To Help Kids With Cancer

ASHLAND – Stone’s Public House in Ashland is hosting a Shamrock Shave Off on St. Patrick’s Day to help kids fighting cancer and their families.

The event is Saturday, March 17 from noon to 4:30 p.m. Registration is at 3 p.m. and shaving starts at 3:30 p.m. at 179 Main Street in Ashland.

The event will include St. Patrick’s Day themed activities and fun for the whole family.

Buzz off your hair to show children fighting cancer that they are not alone.

“The One Mission Buzz Off is a fun and unforgettable event where passionate people come together to shave their heads in honor and support of kids with cancer; kids who don’t have the choice to lose their hair.  Just like a walk or road race, participants raise money by asking family and friends to sponsor their participation. By shaving your head, in less than five minutes you can show kids with cancer they are not alone and that others really do care. All that stands between you and life-changing experience is a head of hair,” according to organizers.
