Framingham High Drama Company Stages Benefit Performance of ‘She Kills Monsters’ Wednesday

FRAMINGHAM – For the 13th time in 15 years, the Framingham High School Drama Company’s entry into the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild’s state drama festival has reached the finals.

Framingham High will perform Friday March 23 at 3 p.m. in the finals in Boston.

Framingham High last won the state title in 2016.

The community can see the production of She Kills Monsters on Wednesday, March 21 at 7 p.m. at Framingham High School tickets for the benefit performance are available at www.showtix4u.com

Framingham High won four awards in the semifinal round of the METG drama festival.

They included:

  • Senior Nick Amico – Excellence in Acting for the role of Chuck
  • Junior Amanda Fawell – Excellence in Acting for the role of Tilly Evans
  • Senior Cleopatra Mavhunga – Excellence in Acting for the role of Agnes Evans
  • Jerry MacDonald – Excellence in Lighting Design
  • Nick Amico – Excellence in Acting for the role of Chuck
  • Amanda Fawell – Excellence in Acting for the role of Tilly Evans
  • Cleopatra Mavhunga – Excellence in Acting for the role of Agnes Evans
  • Alex Magee and Kayla Safford – Excellence in Make-Up and Hair Design
