UPDATED: 5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Wednesday, March 7

1  Today is a scheduled early release day for Framingham High students. It is a PM collab day, in which staff meets but students are dismissed early.

UPDATED: There are no after-school activities for Framingham Public School students

 

2. UPDATED: Framingham Public School students have an art exhibit at the main Framingham Public Library but tonight’s scheduled artist reception has been postponed, due to the pending snow storm. The new date is March 13.

 

 

3.   The talk by Framingham resident Renee Faubert on gardening scheduled for tonight at the Christa McAuliffe Branch library has been postponed, due to the pending snowstorm

 

4. UPDATED: CITY of FRAMINGHAM meetings (this schedule may change with the pending snowstorm):

  • Framingham School Committee meeting has been postponed to Monday, March 12 at 7 p.m. King Elementary. On the agenda is a vote to approve the 2018-19 school calendar and a vote to eliminate athletic fees at the high school.
  • Framingham EBoard of Assessor is scheduled to meet at 5:15 p.m. in the Memorial Building
  • Framingham Conservation Commission is scheduled to meet at 7 in the Memorial Building
  • Framingham City Council’s finance subcommittee is scheduled to meet at 7 in the Memorial Building
  • Wilson School Council is scheduled to meet at 7.

 

5. UPDATED: The Christa McAuliffe Charter School lottery has been postponed until March 13.
