Moms Demand Action Event on Gun Violence at Framingham High March 16

FRAMINGHAM – A Moms Demand Action event, featuring Massachusetts Chapter leader Kim Long, will take place in Framingham on Friday, March 16.

Long will discuss the group’s initiatives in preventing gun violence in the schools and how the community can get involved in the effort.

The event takes place at Framingham High on March 16 in the school’s auditorium from 7 to 9 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Due to limited seating and overwhelming interest, seats must be reserved via Eventbrite, said, organizers. There were 400 seats available as of this posting.

Special guest speakers on March 16 will include State Rep. Jack Lewis, Framingham School Superintendent Robert Tremblay, and Framingham Chief of Police
Kenneth Ferguson.

State and local politicians and leaders will discuss ways in which initiatives are being enacted on a state, local, and school level to prevent gun violence, according to organizers.
