FRAMINGHAM – MAPA Translations & Language Solutions is hosting an International Women’s Day breakfast in Framingham on March 8.
MAPA Translation’s President & CEO Drita Protopapa is taking action and “pressing for progress” for women by actively supporting and building awareness about two incredible non-profit organizations in the MetroWest Boston area that serve women and girls in Massachusetts, with this breakfast. MAPA Translations just celebrated 10 years in business in Framingham.
The breakfast will support Dignity Matters and RIA House.
Dignity Matters is the only New England based non-profit organization that supplies feminine hygiene products and underwear to women and school girls living in homeless or low-income situations to help them stay healthy, regain self-confidence, and live with basic dignity. Attendees to the breakfast are asked to donate a box sanitary pads or a box of tampons, or new bras and underwear.
The mission of RIA House is “to stand with and support women with experience in the commercial sex trade, and its associated exploitation, trafficking and prostitution, by providing a range of community-based services.” RIA House can always use Target or Walmart gift cards.
The breakfast event is FREE to all who attend!
MAPA Translations encourages all attendees to consider making a donation to either or both of these outstanding non-profits.
If you are unable to contribute financially, you can contribute your time by committing to volunteer (long-term) or by serving on one of their boards!
At the breakfast, there will be a collection bin for Dignity Matters – right now their greatest need is for sanitary pads/napkins, said Protopapa.
MAPA Translations, Inc. is located at 35 Tripp Street, Studio 3 (2nd Floor) in Framingham.
