FRAMINGHAM – Transition Framingham, and several other organizations, will host Green Framingham United 2.0, on Saturday March 10.
The event will be held at First Parish in Framingham Church at 24 Vernon Street from 1:30 to 5 p.m.
During the event, organizers with attendees will brainstorm ways to make the City of Framingham more sustainable and resilient.
After the brainstorming session, attendees will vote on their favorite ideas and the ones with the most votes will be awarded break out sessions. During those “sessions, attendees will delve deeper into the viability of the idea. Each break out session will then report back to the entire audience.
We will create working groups for ideas that have sufficient viability and momentum with the goal of making Framingham a greener place to live, work and play,” said Michael Croci, one of the organizers.
On June 11, 2017 Transition Framingham hosted Green Framingham United 1.0.
That event “brought together like-minded people that are playing a part in making Framingham more sustainable and resilient,” said Croci.
