Councilor Grove’s District 8 Meeting Will Focus on Traffic, Crime

FRAMINGHAM – District 8 City Councilor Judy Grove will hold her second Community Meeting on Tuesday, February 27.

The meeting will be held at Amazing Things Arts Center at 160 Hollis Street (Route 126) from 3 to 5 p.m.

Grove’s first District 8 Meeting was held at the BRACE Center on Route 135 on February 12.

“It was well attended and the discussion was lively and far-ranging from the development of the Bancroft Building on Fountain Street to the role of the Mayor and the City Council to the development of a walking trail through the Cedar Swamp Conservation Land,” said Grove.

At that first meeting, the topic of greatest concern was traffic and crime in our neighborhoods, so the next meeting will focus on this, said Grove.

Three members of the Framingham Police Department will be in attendance to address residents’ concerns on February 27.

  •         Deputy Chief, Steven Trask, Emergency Management and Operations
  •         Lieutenant Blaise Tersoni, Bureau of Investigative Services
  •         Keith Strange, Assistant Safety Officer

“Other topics can be discussed as well and you do not need to live in District 8 to attend this meeting,” said Grove.

Editor’s Note: In full disclosure, I live in District 8
