CONWAY, SOUTH CAROLINA – Approximately 2,419 students have made the Fall Semester 2017 Dean’s List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average.
Two Framingham students made the Dean’s List at the South Carolina university. They are:
- Esther Holt, a biochemistry major
- Kylie King, an undeclared major
Coastal Carolina University is a dynamic, public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The University offers baccalaureate degrees in 73 major fields of study. Among the University’s 21 graduate-level programs are 18 master’s degrees, two educational specialist degrees, and the Ph.D. in marine science: coastal and marine systems science. The most popular undergraduate majors are marine science, management, exercise and sport science, communication and psychology.
Coastal Carolina University was founded in 1954 as Coastal Carolina Junior College and became an independent state university in 1993.
