FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham man, 28, was hospitalized after an early morning fire today, February 11.
Framingham Fire Department responded to a fire on Georgetown Drive this morning at 5:14 a.m. said Framingham Fire Chief Joseph Hicks.
Firefighters extinguished the smoky kitchen fire on the second floor, said Chief Hicks.
Two units were damaged by water and heat, and several floors were filled with smoke, said the Chief.
The man, 28, the occupant of the unit, was transported by Framingham Fire to MetroWest Medical Center.
All residents are back in their apartments, except for two units that were badly damaged, including the unit where the fire started.
