FRAMINGHAM – Framingham’s freshmen and sophmore relay team finished fifth at the annual Janiak track meet at the Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School.
On the 4×400 relay was sophomore Angel Martinez, sophomore Alex Thurber, freshman Josh Halberstadt, and sophomore Zach Blumer. Their time was 4:16 minutes.
This was the 11th year, Framingham High’s boys indoor strack team has competed in the annual freshmen and sophomore meet, said head coach Chris Collins.
Freshman Ryan McIrney finished fifth in the 2-mile for Framingham.
Framingham freshman Sed Lomani had a personal best in the 55-meter hurdles, said Collins. His time of 9.87 seconds captured sixth place overall.
