UPDATED: Guards Tsiantoulas and Fonseca Lead Framingham Over Wellesley 70-65

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys basketball team won its second game of the season last night, with a huge win over Wellesley High on the road.

Framingham defeated the Raiders 70-65.

The Flyers are now 2-12 overall, and 2-7 in the Bay State Conference, under first year head coach Jason Gosselin.

With the loss, Wellesley is now 10-5 overall.

Senior guard Elias Tsiantoulas scored 21 points to lead the Flyers to victory. Junior Guard Matt Fonseca scored 16 points for the Flyers.

“HUGE W for our group on the road against Wellesley. Didn’t start well but finished strong,” Tweeted coach Gosselin. “Incredible defensive effort that led to solid offense. Beyond proud!”

“PROUD coach. What a joy to coach,” Tweeted Gosselin to Source. “Work hard. No quit. Learning to pair consistency with their capabilities!”
