Superintendent Names Principal At Potter Road Elementary

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Superintendent of Schools Bob Tremblay is appointing Potter Road Assistant Principal Lawrence Wolpe to Principal of the district’s elementary school for the 2018-19 school year.

“Larry’s knowledge of Potter Road Elementary School, his steadfast and obvious commitment to the Potter Road, and larger Framingham, community —  inclusive of the parents, the staff, and, most importantly, the children — made him the obvious choice for leadership at Potter Road Elementary School,” said Tremblay, in a statement.

“Larry’s openness to feedback, his willingness to learn and reflect, and his inclination to immerse himself in the Two-Way Program showcased the vision of a
leader; the district will support him and Potter Road in this next chapter.”

Wolpe is has been the assistant principal at Potter Road since 2012.

Prior to that, he was an elementary teacher at Stapleton Elementary.

A graduate of Ithaca College, he earned his Masters in Elementary Education from Lesley University.
