5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Tuesday, January 23

1 the Framingham School Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at at King Elementary School. On the agenda is a proposed change from Tuesday night to Wednesday night meetings starting in February.



2. The Framingham Homework Center announced the winners of its 4th Annual Essay Contest last night. Middle and high school students were invited to write about three things they would ask the new Mayor of the City of Framingham to address.

  • Boys swim and dive will travel to Newton for a meet against the Tigers of Newton North at 3:45 p.m.
  • Boys basketball will host Natick High tonight at 6:30 p.m.
  • Girls basketball will travel to Natick for a game against the Red Hawks at 6:30 p.m.
  • Gymnastics team travels to Walpole for a meet against Norwood High tonight.

  • Marian High boys basketball hosts St. Joe’s Prep today.
  • Marian High indoor track teams have a meet at the Reggis Lewis Center at 4:30 p.m.
