FRAMINGHAM – One of the oldest stores in downtown Framingham has been closed all week.
The closing is temporary, due to frozen pipes, according to signs on the window.
Panza Shoes, which has been operating since 1945, is recovering from frozen pipes that burst.
Owner Richard Panza was not reachable today for comment.
Blowers were on the retail store floor today, January 11. It is unknown when the store will re-open.
Panza shoes is a second generation small business in downtown Framingham. The store carries women’s shoe sizes 4 to 14 in all widths, and men’s shoe sizes 6 to 16 in all widths.
Panza Shoe has a strong reputation for fitting comfortable and fashionable shoes, and has a very loyal customer base in MetroWest.
