FRAMINGHAM – Teresa G. (Agostinelli) Muto, 96, a lifelong local resident, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham.
She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel N. Muto who passed away in 2003 and with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.
Born in Sherborn, she was the daughter of the late Claudio and Rosa (Mantoni) Agostinelli and was a graduate of Natick High School with the Class of 1939.
Muto worked as a bookkeeper at Kay’s Jewelers at its former downtown Framingham location and will be remembered as a very talented cook who enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends.
A member of the Framingham Catholic Women’s Club, she enjoyed bowling and golf and following the Boston Red Sox.
She is survived by a daughter: Jane E. Muto and her companion Ronald Nisbet of Framingham, a son: Robert S. Muto and his wife Darlene of West Brookfield; 4 grandchildren: Matthew, Stephanie, Hannah and Samuel, her sister-in-law: Betty Muto of Framingham, and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brothers: Henry, Adamo, James and Frank Agostinelli.
A visiting hour will be held Thursday, January 11th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Avenue in Framingham.
A funeral Mass will follow at St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverley St., (Rte. 135) Framingham at 11:30 a.m.
Interment will be in St. Tarcisius Cemetery, corner of Winthrop St. and Bethany Rd., Framingham.
