FRAMINGHAM – Avidia Bank is proud that BauerFinancial, the nation’s premier bank rating firm, announced recently that the bank secured a five-star rating.
This is the highest rating they bestow upon a financial institution.
“Because community banks put their focus on local people and small businesses, they are perfectly positioned to provide the specialized support that is unique to their area,” acknowledges Karen L. Dorway, president of BauerFinancial. “Community banks, like Avidia Bank, promote local growth by investing back into the same neighborhoods that their deposits come from. By fostering these local relationships, they achieve two goals: they are highly capitalized and they are accountable to their customers.”
“We are very proud of this recognition, a sentiment which is shared by the entire organization,,” said Mark O’Connell, president & CEO of Avidia Bank. “This rating is only made possible when every Avidia employee works as a team with the goal of being one of the best banks and delivering top tier products and service.”
Avidia opened its newest branch in Framingham in fall 2017.
Avidia Bank provides state-of- the-art electronic banking capabilities to businesses and consumers across Central Massachusetts through online access and full-service branches. Avidia Bank is a $1.5 billion bank, headquartered in Hudson, with branches in Hudson, Westborough, Clinton, Leominster, Marlborough, Northborough, Framingham and Shrewsbury.
