5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Monday, January 8

1  Framingham Schools re-open after a 4-day weekend due to two snow days, the first two snow days of the 2017-18 school year.

And trash collection is back to a normal schedule this week. Christmas trees will be collected curbside this week only.



2.  Framingham Town-Wide PTO is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 at Dunning Elementary School. All are welcome to attend.



3. The Framingham City Council subcommittee on appointments is scheduled to interview Mayor Yvonne Spicer’s 5 candidates for the first-ever City of Framingham License Commission tonight at 6.


4. The Framingham Planning Board cancelled its meeting and public hearings last Thursday due to the snowstorm. The public hearings have been rescheduled for tonight at 7 p.m.


5. MUSTANGS in action:

Marian High girls basketball will battle Cristo Rey today.
